Михал Войда, външнополитически анализатор в Portal Spraw Zagranicznych (Портал за международни проблеми), един от най-големите полски сайтове, посветени на международните отношения, гостува на подкаста Cross-border Talks (Трансгранични разговори) и коментира перспективите пред ускореното членство на Украйна в ЕС. Той анализира реакциите на основните държави в Западна Европа, отношението на Полша и други въпроси от европейската проблематика, свързани с войната в Украйна. Според него това, което се случва сега, би довело до енергийно преосноваване на ЕС, като ще се премине към замяна на руските енергийни източници с други. Той подчертава и последиците от бежанската криза в Полша и други страни и предупреждава, че икономическите щети, причинени от войната в Украйна, вече са огромни.

Michał Wojda, analist de politică externă la Portal Spraw Zagranicznych (Portalul problemelor internaționale), unul dintre cele mai mari site-uri poloneze dedicate relațiilor internaționale, a acordat un interviu pentru Cross-border Talks despre perspectivele aderării rapide a Ucrainei. El a analizat reacțiile țărilor de bază din Europa de Vest, atitudinea Poloniei și alte aspecte ale afacerilor europene, legate de războiul din Ucraina. În opinia sa, ceea ce se întâmplă acum ar duce la o refondare energetică a UE, cu o mișcare de înlocuire a surselor de energie rusești cu altele. De asemenea, el consideră semnificativă criza refugiaților din Polonia și din alte țări, în timp ce devastarea economică provocată de războiul din Ucraina este deja enormă. De asemenea, Wojda a exprimat o părere despre parcursul de aderare la UE a Georgiei și a Republicii Moldova și a conturat diverse scenarii pentru încheierea intervenției militare rusești în Ucraina.

An interview with the Polish foreign policy analyst about the interests of Western Europe and Poland with regards to the EU membership of Ukraine, about the economic dimensions of the war there, about the perspectives before Georgia and Moldova for EU membership and the need for refoundation of the EU energy policy

Michał Wojda, a foreign policy analyst at Portal Spraw Zagranicznych (International Problems’ Portal), one of the biggest Polish sites dedicated to international relations, gave an interview to Cross-border Talks about the perspectives of fast-track membership of Ukraine. He analyzed the reactions of the core countries in Western Europe, the attitude of Poland and other issues of European affairs, related to the war in Ukraine. In his view what happens now would lead to the energy refoundation of the EU, with a move to replacement of Russian energy sources with others. He also views the refugee crisis in Poland and other countries as significant, while the economic devastation caused by war in Ukraine is already enormous. Wojda also had a take on the EU membership course of Georgia and the Republic of Moldova and outlined various scenarios for the end of the Russian military intervention in Ukraine.

On 9 March 2022 Cross-border Talks interviewed the Romanian expert on good governance Codru Vrabie about what is realistic to happen on the EU road of Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine, when they have war or frozen conflicts in their territories, what can the eastern countries in the EU do for them and what have been the good stories for reform in change in them, especially in the Republic of Moldova.

This article deals with the issue of defining the border between Bulgaria and Romania on the Danube. Attempts by the two neighbouring countries to resolve the issue of the border and the membership of the islands on the Danube in the second half of the 20th century – through regular bilateral meetings between party leaders and government representatives from Bulgaria and Romania, as well as numerous discussions in joint expert commissions – have failed to resolve the controversial issue and to date the Romanian-Bulgarian river border continues to be established on the basis of the convention signed in 1908.
